New Features Added to SPUKO.com
Ever since the first day SPUKO became a public forum for Myspace.com app users to add friends for their relevant applications, the spam settings of Myspace.com have been an issue. Many users would add their name not realizing that the check boxes for Captcha and/or Last Name requirement was selected on their myspace profile. This action caused many unhappy SPUKO users.
SPUKO is happy to unviel our spam settings filter, which alerts every user if they have Captcha or Last Name Requirement on. We are always trying to improve the user experience for our loyal fans and users.
Currently, the filter will allow a user to add their name to our system even if they have Last Name Requirement or Captcha on. They will be alerted immediately and provided a link to the settings page of their profile where they can remove the appropriate settings.
Please feel free to let us know if you have suggestions to make the site better.

Well I find it a hassle to add anyone off this list when they have the last name and CAPTCHA option turned on… think you will have better results if you remove it…. I swear I am th eonly one who reads directions, because EVERYONE I click still has it on…. I will not add you unless you take it off. It is a hassle and takes too much time. Read the directions, and Take OFF CAPTCHA

Breahs,
I think you misunderstand what the pop up does. Since you don’t have either of these settings on you don’t see the alert that these users see when they try entering their name with Captcha settings on.

I liked the idea of this site because users were supposed to turn off captcha and last name requirements in order to be added. At least that’s what I thought it was supposed to be. Every single user i’ve tried on here still has Captcha turned on. It’s very frustrating.
