Mafia Wars – Bar Tabs (Now Explained in detail)

- Home - (ALL Communication) receive comments, blog entries and monitor defensive efforts while away, prices of the blog entries go up in value with progression of levels into the $1000’s. **Broadcast a Hit without having to use the “Bounties” tab**. (Details)
- Jobs - Uses Energy and second form of real cash follow. (**Early levels, energy is not as important as attack and defense – increase after 5-6th Levels to do bigger Jobs**). (Details)
- HitList – (**Rarely used**) Mostly used by individuals to get their wins up. They will put a “Hit” on themselves. There is no hiding in “Hospital” when you have a “Hit” on you. They can attack you until you die. That individual will receive the bounty amount. There are various strategies to putting a bounty on yourself to gain fame. (Details)
- Properties – (**Key in success**) Buy lands then, buildings (you do lose the land after purchase of buildings, but in later levels to save yourself money, buy multiple lands and buildings at the same time with the drop down # box for the same price without an increase. Remember, (**hourly income is key**)!! (Details)
- Bank - (**Useless until higher levels 14+**) This takes 10% of all money put in and need to leave at least $2000 in at all times. Benefit, is that none can attack you and take the money if you lose. (Details)
- Godfather - (**Timing is KEY**) Games vary on how many power crystals/favors/wishes ect. you get ranging from a minimum of 10 to 20 (20 being Vampires & Dragon Wars) in all the games. You may also, fill out advertisement applications to get more items or pay through PAYPAL. Every 10 credits/gold/blood ect. you get = 10000 x your level of the game. The formula i.e.: 10 x your level= $$$$$; (10 x 11 Level = $110,000). Recommendation, (**Use them within the levels of 8-13**). (Details)
- Hospital – (**Need Bank and NOT needed until 14+ Levels**) Great place to be when away, but again if you have a bounty on your there is no hiding and you may have to re-stratigize. (Details) The cost to get out goes up with your levels. (**If necessary to stay in here, it is possible to punch yourself under “My Stats” dealing 1-5 damage to stay in**).
- Fight – (**Destroy users**) Pick proper weapons and have proper level upgrades. (Details) HEATH: 100/100 default, you can attack or be attacked when as low as 20/100. When increased through upgrading after you level up, I.E: HEATH: 110/110, you can attack or be attacked when as low as 22/110 and so on. Choosing a victim on the “Fight” tab. View the # of individuals in their group, prefer to battle a smaller group than your own. DO NOT CLICK ATTACK on the right! Instead, click on their profile name to the left. We found out, they can out # your group and you can still win. (Details) After clicking profile name, observe Wins/Losses and Weapons! (Details)
- Inventory – (**Essential to the game**) Various stratigies depending on your direction. Can determine whether you can do some of the Job to earn more money. A few of the games have other types of (Unseen) weapons, but all games are same in values and play the same in weaponry values. Establish a good plan for your defense and attack, for more ideas and formulas reference “Fight” or (Details).
- Looted Items – (**Only Mafia Wars and Dragon Wars have this option type**) Can really turn the game in your favor. You pick these items up from various missions (Randomly). It will be a surprise!
- My Mafia – (**ABSOLUTLY ESSENTIAL**) Not as hard as it use to be, now easier than ever with SPUKO.com. Some of your friends will block the apps you would like to add them to. Now you can rapidly add more gamers through SPUKO.com. Not sure how to SPUKO? (Details)
- Upgrades – (**Will guide the direction of your game play**) Upon every level up, you will be given 3 credits (6 credits have been credited on occasion???) to apply to your upgrades. When to change your direction will depend on your time to play this game and types of weapons you are purchasing. (Details)
- Leaders??? – (**To get here will depend on your strategy and dedication**) It seems the games made by ZYNGA currently don’t have a “Leader” board. Nice about a couple of the games, not only do they have a leader board, but it can be further narrowed down further by Region and even State.

you get bonus weapon once you reach level 99 i havnt got there yet though im a level 67 or are you talking about looted items? cuz you get those through the missions

Why why why cant you message on mafia wars..I hate that I cant confront the people that keep on attacking me. Also they can attack me when they are such higher levels than me…No chance to hit back

They prey on the weak for the fact that they can do it and get away with it, also if they have land or whatever the name of the stuff is that you make money an hour they could be killing you for the money…I really dont think there is a way to beat them unless you got a lvl 100s friend on mafia wars, so the only thing to do is NOTHING except what you have been doing on the game…I hate it to so now you know that you are not the only one that feels that way XD

Look on the right of your home page Desiree. Read the news update for the 19th. Sometimes now when you to fight, they now allow you to bring in an extra person to get the job done.
You can even get looted items from that. Go to the fight page and every now and then, someone else’s pic will pop up and both of you get the benefit of the hit.

I’d have to totally disagree that the “Hit List” in Mafia Wars is “rarely used”… There are MANY players that do nothing but hit list.
I’ve discovered MANY that either have 2 MySpace accounts & their lower Mafia Wars player puts the higher Mafia Wars player on the hit list all day & night, or…
husband/wife (boyfriend/girlfriend) whoever is lower puts the other on the hit list repeatedly.
I’ve seen some jump 100 levels or more in a week using this strategy. I’ve complained in the forums & also sent a ticket to Zynga (with the MySpace ID# of said cheaters), but it’s all fallen on deaf ears.
I would think in gaming strategy, if someone was in your Mafia, you WOULD NOT and also SHOULD NOT have the ability to place them on the hit list (note if you go to the profile page of someone in your Mafia, you can’t attack them), so why in the heck is this “cheater’s loophole” available for so many to take advantage of & jump so many levels???
I’m seeing it now also in Vampires. I’m sure it’s been rampant in all Zynga apps & I’ve only just noticed, but I don’t think this is something that should be allowed.
I worked & played to get to my levels in all my Zynga apps & it’s really disgusting & irritating so many peeps “cheat” and are attaining Levels 200 & more.

yo Spuko, can you make that step bigger and maybe put it right above the box where you enter your name?
i just went through the whole list and EVERY profile required a captcha! i dont have that kind of time. or at least put a big warning that says “IF YOU DONT TURN OFF CAPTCHA YOU WILL GET VERY FEW ADDS!”

What i hate about this game is that someone will attack you and get 100,000 off of you and 2 mins or less you go to attack them and they will be in the hospital. Also i get hit constantly for 100,000 but the most I ever got from a hit is 70,000!!

Please do something about the TURN OFF CAPTCHA AND LAST NAME REQUIREMENTS!!! If they can play the games, surely the came read those simple instructions!It is frustrating!

I had the same problem with CAPTCHA. Every profile in Spuko required it. But I thought that was odd that all of these people would not notice the warning to turn it off. So I filled out one CAPTCHA then the profiles stopped requiring it for a while. The only thing I can figure is myspace starts to require it if you make too many friend requests.

What exactly determines your hitlist value? I have this one guy that keeps on hitting me up I think b/c I whacked him off the hitlist and won’t stop. So… I went and bought properties hopefully to bring my number up but when I looked at his profile HIS value went up!

i just wanted to say that i think the new boss setup is lame. i was pullin tons of exp fightin the mayor, and now i only get 5 each time i beat the new bosses.
also, i pulled a 685 billion dollar bounty the other day. pullin in 260 mil per hour now, with 100 bil in the bank.
and i cant level fast enough.
i want my bonus weapon.

Hey I was just reading some of your comments. I can see by the dates that I’m kinda late but the captcha is imposed by Myspace 99% of the time.
Especially if they are constant one after another. Myspace will only let you add so many friends at once then they require you to fill out a captcha. If you skip it and go on to the next, that one will require a captcha etc…
If you fill out the captcha it will go away until you submit a certain (i’m not exactly sure how many)amount of friends requests.
Myspace can do whatever they want for security reasons but I think they should say that “they” are requiring the captcha, not the friend you are requesting.
